The GoodWe DNS G3 series inverter is designed for single-phase residential applications. Integrated with high-current input and DC input oversizing capabilities, the DNS G3 provides optimised power generation and substantial return on investment. With its lighter and fanless compact design, the DNS G3 inverter provides a reliable power supply that runs at a super quiet operation of less than 25dB. The inverter also takes safety measures including optional Arc Fault Current Interrupter (AFCI) and Type II Surge Protection Device (SPD) on both sides to protect the system from electrical fire and lightning hazards in extreme environments, for guaranteed safety.

Installation Requirements

Installation Environment Requirements
  1. Do not install the equipment near materials that are flammable, explosive, or corrosive.
  2. Ensure the equipment is mounted on a sturdy surface that can support its weight.
  3. Install the equipment in a well-ventilated area for efficient heat dissipation. Ensure the space is ample for maintenance and operations.
  4. Equipment with a high ingress protection rating may be installed indoors or outdoors, but temperature and humidity must be within acceptable ranges.
  5. Install the equipment in a shaded location to protect it from direct sunlight, rain, and snow. Consider adding a sunshade if necessary.
  6. Avoid installing the equipment in areas where it can be easily touched, especially by children. The surface may reach high temperatures during operation and could cause burns.
  7. Mount the equipment at a convenient height for operation, maintenance, and easy access to electrical connections, indicators, and labels.
  8. Keep the inverter away from strong magnetic fields to prevent electromagnetic interference. If there is radio or wireless communication equipment operating below 30MHz nearby:
    • Position the inverter at least 30 meters away from such equipment.
    • Install a low-pass EMI filter or a multi-winding ferrite core on the DC input or AC output cables of the inverter.

Mounting Support Requirements
  • The mounting support must be made of nonflammable, fireproof materials.
  • Ensure the support surface is sufficiently sturdy to bear the weight of the product.
  • Avoid installing the product on supports with poor sound insulation, as the noise generated during operation may disturb nearby residents.

Installation Angle Requirements
  • Install the inverter in a vertical position or with a maximum backward tilt of up to 15 degrees.
  • Do not install the inverter upside down, tilted forward, backward, or in a horizontal position.
