Connecting CTs to the Revenue Grade and Consumption Meter

Inverter Interfaces
The following figure shows the inverter connectors and components, located at the
bottom of the inverter.

AC Conduit Entry: Used for connecting the inverter to the AC grid or to a Backup Interface.
DC Conduit Entry: This entry point is for connecting the inverter to SolarEdge Power Optimizers and batteries. When installing a battery, route the DC cables from both the battery and the Power Optimizers to an external combiner box that complies with local regulations. Then, connect the cables from the combiner box to the inverter’s DC terminals inside the Connection Unit.
- CT Gland: Provides a connection point for external current transformers (CTs).
DC Safety Switch: Enables quick connection and disconnection of DC power to and from the system for safety.
Communication Glands: Two glands are available for connecting inverter communication options. Each gland has three openings for convenient wiring of communication cables.
